A public body since 1978, the Confederação Portuguesa das Colectividades de Cultura, Recreio e Desporto (CPCCRD) represents the Popular Association Movement.
With about 38 decentralised structures all over the country (District and County Federations and LINK Associations) and more than 4,300 affiliates, the mission of the Confederation of Associations is to recognise and value the Popular Association Movement, namely through the presentation and discussion of adequate and fair legal diplomas for culture, recreation and sports associations.
